Mark Schwartz,a partner in the firm, was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1960. Mark grew up in Austin, Texas, practiced five years with a large firm's Dallas office and returned to Austin with his family in the mid 1990s. Mark began practicing law in the State of Texas in 1991 and holds admissions to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Mark received a B.A. in economics from the University of Texas in 1983 and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1991.

Mark served as a member of Phi Delta Phi, was a Pupil in the Patrick Higginbotham Inn of Court in 1994, and was a Barrister in the Robert W. Calvert Inn of Court from 1999 to 2001. Mark holds memberships in the Travis County and American Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of Texas, and held memberships in the American Inns of Court and The Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism. He holds a Life Fellowship with the Texas Bar Foundation. Mark is active in the Austin community and focuses his practice in the area of civil litigation.

Eric T. Marin, a partner in the firm, was born in Augusta, Maine in 1970 and moved to Texas after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in history from Brown University in 1992. He then attended and received from The University of Texas School of Law a J.D. in 1996 and has lived and practiced law in Texas since then. After time spent prosecuting criminal cases for the Harris County District Attorney's Office and representing small business clients in Houston, Eric returned to Austin to practice litigation and administrative law in 1999.  He too is raising a family with his wife, Carol, in Austin. Eric is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. Eric is a member of the Travis County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. Eric is active in the Austin community and focuses his practice on civil litigation and administrative law.
